Lessons from Italy for a more effective use of crown witnesses in the Netherlands


In recent years, crown witness deals have become one of the most debated topics in Dutch criminal procedural law. The Minister of Justice and Safety is turning to Italy as an inspiration to improve Dutch law. What lessons can be learned from this country?
